If you level goldsmith you will use electrum, and possibly gold, if you lvl blacksmith you willl use iron and cobalt.

If you SB alot with miner and goldsmith leveled you will go through alot of electrum ores to make ingots, if you are an archer and make your own arrows you will go through alot of cobalt ores, and for both of those easily hit 4k.

Or if you are going for gil, currently both NQ electrum and cobalt sell for 3k each, thats over 300k a stack, go out and mine 4k times for both and you will be swimming in gil. I have Mining your own business: Thanalan V, all from wanting to make gil and now I'm going for my lumi.
