The latest update is pretty good in respect that the PvP mode is going in the right direction. Having something to push along, a better observable objective you can influence.
However, your current system for managing PvP matches is sooooo flawed it shouldn't even be allowed to be played under ranking system.
We have multiple ranks, each rank has 3 tiers within, and each tier has 3 star requirement.
Understood, that's fine.
However you are match making new players that have never played rank before, alongside silver. How does this make sense? Throw them in the deep end hope it all goes swell and they get a carry? or just get decimated because teams are so unbalanced and the gameplay is not fun for them and crap?
I'm Silver, and have been for a while, and this is no lack of ability of my own. I can't carry a whole team though, and any wins I get are quickly taken away by a joke of a Match Making system.
Now I wouldn't be making this post if devs/directors had the common sense to group at least tiers together instead of 2 each way in ranks... I mean, how can golds play in the same team as bronze?
This would be less infuriating if I didn't just grind my ass up to Silver 1, to then go back down to Silver 2, because My Team has a silver,3 bronze and new player (fricken yey) and we up against a silver and 4 bronze...
Silver 1 > should be grouped with Other silvers, and possible Gold 3. This makes sense...
Your current system (or lack there of) does not. Wasting my time because of this bull system has no balance because fear that no one would be playing so just group larger tiers together. That's definitely not the case right now, there's tons of silver playing at same time.
I might as well add, where's the stun immunity after being stunned?
Right now, PVP is trash due to it's match making. Should at least make the match making tier gaps fluctuate based on signups for those tiers in the past 20/30/60 minutes etc.
whoever thought of the match making rank grouping, give them a good fricken hard slap for me.
