That said, the nVidia graphics drivers from nVidia's website (or even the drivers via Windows Update) should install assuming the nVidia GPU either hasn't been disabled at the hardware level or isn't defective.
You do not need to only install drivers from the Microsoft Surface driver library.
So, if you can't get the nVidia drivers installed, there must be a reason.
Can you post the exact error messge you get if you try to install drivers downloaded from nVidia?
