A new player to the game and his experience with the pvp battle roulette

So this is the first time I have written on this forum. I have really enjoyed playing the game so far. However, today I logged into my first pvp roulette as I heard it gives a lot of experience.

Unfortunately, I have to say it was one of the worst and most infuriating experiences I have ever encountered playing a game. It actually made me want to get physically mad, and it's a game, so that should not take place.

I loaded into the game with NO abilities on my bars, I was super confused. Then I tried to add abilities to the bar and it said can not use in pvp mode, and so I spent 15 minutes unable to do anything and just get killed over and over.

I'm just lost for words that this game be real life for a game. I'm sure people had friends that explained this to them, but I don't. So I mean, c'mon like this is unacceptable and I hope the team fixes this big time, because like I said I am really enjoying pve content in the game.

The pvp abilities are completely separate to the pve abilities, so you need to go to your pvp profile and add your abilities to your pvp hotbar at The Wolves' Den.

When you go to the PVP locale, there is a bright red button for your PVP profile, which is where you gain access to your PVP skills.

What other's already said, go to the Wolfs Den map in La Noscea and open your PvP page.
There you can look up all your avaible skills, read what they are doing, as PvE and PvP skills work differently.

There are also target dummies in Wolfs Den so you can practice the skills and get used to them.
Also, PvP "Sprint" is a toggle with no duration timer. Good think to remember.


I agree that as a new player not knowing these things, joining a PvP game and have no skills is bad design.
The game should at least have all PvP skills automatically put on your PvP hotbar.
Then the player can relocate them as they want.

Thank you all for your kind replies. This helped a lot. It's easier to remember we were all new at one time, and well I was very lost, truthfully still am in a lot of parts of the game. But you helped and made my day a little brighter so thank you all.
