It wasn't a brag about my bachelor's degree, it was the fact that I was able to get something that took years in the time they still haven't added a basic feature kiddie modders already have. Add me if you want be a little creep, I can give you something to complain about.

So you're saying that the modders who allowed the ability to wear hats a FEW MONTHS after Viera were added only did so because they don't work at square enix? I get that they have tons to do, but this is not a feature that would kill them to incorporate. I don't care about old clothes, but new? I'll cry. They released a new set that is really cute, but I don't get to enjoy it. Yes, I'm entitled and upset. I guess a part of my salt being that the game doesn't tell you that you can't wear headgear as Viera when you make your first character ever.

IMO we should be able to reroll with only the people who originally bid on that plot. No more no less for "compensation"

Hi,

I have been saving money since January to buy a little house, finally I saved enough all by myself by doing crafting and gathering jobs and I made a bid for my very first house. But the whole housing bug screwed me up so much and I was so disappointed and upset yesterday when I found out it affected me and I could not get the house even though I was the only bidder....

So now I am so nervous that the Dev team will just ignore all of us who lost out and brush over the whole thing by not acknowledging our rightful house and our win.

Please FFXIV Dev team, correct this by giving the house to the people who made all the effort the first time round, because it is our right and we don't deserve to be ignored, please find out who all the people who are affected by this bug is and give them their house, DO NOT just roll over to the new lottery and hurt so much of us.

Because we should not be punished for the mistake of the Dev team.

I have been playing since the very beginning of FFXIV, please DO NOT disappoint and hurt us.....I need a home....

its unlikely the dev team will. There was numerous times where there was a bug that the 45 day timer didn't go off and people lost their houses while actively using them, and still didn't get their houses back for that bug.

Compensation for what? You didn't lose time because the new system takes 30 seconds to apply. You didn't lose your gil. All you did was lose an opportunity, and they cant exactly compensate for that with anything that makes sense.

I would agree but this is not just "AN" opportunity, this is the biggest opportunity, bidding on plots was very widespread in between all the wards (except for personal of course because yeah..) so they in fact lost their biggest chance at getting a house because of an amateurish "bug", which is not acceptable.

This is not the biggest opportunity. Shirugane was a bigger opportunity it had more wards on release and no RNG to it. Just good old first come first serve. If anything this is probably the worst opportunity the game has offered so far even with out the bug. Not sure why you make up such a claim.
