Unfortunately this is how you have to get through to some of these people.

that is due to the fact apartments are a vastly inferior option to even the smallest home.

less overall space, no yard, no gardening, no outdoor furniture.

You can garden in apartments using flowerpots.

You can't intercross for new seeds, which the vast majority will never do because of the daily maintenance and RNG.

The gardening argument is always a funny one to see used considering a tour of the wards shows how very unpopular it is as an activity. It's rare to see a garden patch placed, rarer to see it in use and extremely rare to see someone actually intercrossing (you can tell by what they have planted).

Unfortunately this is how you have to get through to some of these people.

The only thing inappropriate analogies and hyperbole get across is the personal character of the individual posting such things.

Like it or not, there are good reasons why developers don't share more information more frequently. If you pay attention to player comments and feedback when information does get released in advance of the content release, it should become readily apparent what the biggest problem is.
