Empty FC Wards

Because they want as many FCs as possible to be housed before opening it up to personals, who will take every last bit of availability that remains. They've said multiple times that they can adjust the designations of wards at-will. It is very clear what they are doing.

Image says it all, why are personal houses relegated to second class when all of these weren't even bid on? Am I going to have to make my own FC with dummy members just to get a house?

The image says nothing. The 0-bug affected FCs more than anything. Plots in all the wards on my server were bid on, and they look just like this, because we all lost to bid 0. Please don't use a game-breaking bug to justify your lack of knowledge about what happened.

I really wish you guys would watch the live letters or read before making these posts. They clearly stated the plan in the simplest of terms. Majority FC houses FIRST over personals. The reasons why FC houses get the primary share of housing should be beyond obvious as a FC house servers multiple people and multiple purposes. A personal is just that person and even though you can add people to it outside of gardening and such it really servers no functional purpose.

They said once the first round was done they would evaluate the data on a per world basis, based off demand/need and readjust the numbers and wards accordingly. Obviously if they see like 75% of the wards are for FC and only 1-2 wards are claimed or some such non sense they will open up more for personal use. But FC come first as they should.

FCs are first going to go war large and mediums over smalls. If they lost then they would do their backups. I'm not saying some FCs dont want smalls but given the lottery system and lot availability why wouldn't they go for a larger plot forst with the odds being fair. It just makes sense before trying for a small

Of course their empty, which FC would go for a small if they know their still there next week and not go for a large or at least medium. Next lottery the houses with nicer location will go and eventually it will fizzle out to "whats left", you go down the prio list, if this remains for 4-5 lotto weeks they should open it this will depend largely on server however.

For those who think it's that empty due to the 0 bug, I checked out that subdivision.

Five houses had bids but are unclaimed. Being from off world, it only lets me view the entry information on the placard but not the results so I can't say how many got hit with the 0 bug and how many are just unclaimed.

There was an additional house that has no entry information and states it is not available for purchase. I'm assuming it was claimed then relinquished.

The remaining houses all had 0 entries. So it's not the bug making that ward look so empty. It really is that empty from a lack of interested FCs.

Lack of FCs bidding on what size houses? Like before woth a lotto go big and then trickle down when you don't get what you want.

I can’t speak for your world but the main reason why the fc wards are empty right now on Mateus is cause we did bid on houses for the fc but most of us got 0 and no one won the house cause of the bug. It’s really quite annoying.

Do we have any idea when the FC wards will be open to personal housing? I wandered through one of the FC wards that had not a single house and the only properties with bids were the large. Nobody even LOOKING at the mediums. I get why they waited but even on a brand new server folks knew the demand for FC large would be at highest and chose to gamble vs take a medium.
