Aye aye am certain they are well experienced in this stuffs and can handle it. Look through github issues section if you wish to see skyrocketing levels of passive aggressive bug reporting. Those are most amusing to read

    Pull request titled - Stinky doo doo code. Yummy. You kinda learn to accept that when there are issues people will experience unhappiness in any field.

    They have been working on the game for almost 2 decades there isn't really any excuse why they are consistent with bungling things. When the community requests orange and they give yellow instead of just orange. That's just corporate nowadays they come out with solutions from left field that don't make sense and are completely illogical.

    I don't understand this concept of "devs slave away to make this game for us". We pay them for it. This game is incredibly successful and has been so for a decade. They make a shitload of money out of it. They sell a ton of housing items for real money in their cash shop. So when a system that was a highlight of their expansion marketing and a highlight of their 6.1 patch marketing, that uses a lot of the items they readily accept your real money for from the Mogstation, simply does not work, people should just be all, "Oh well, they worked hard at it"? I understand telling people to not go over the top with their feedback, that is just normal human expectations. Yeah, there will be plenty of asshats who take it too far, but making a forum post saying, "Don't be mean" isn't really accomplishing much other than farming for a few likes and upvotes on the internet. When you release something broken, there will be pushback. The devs aren't "slaving away" for free just to put a smile on your face or some nonsense.

    At the end of the day, we’re customers buying a product and nothing else. Square Enix, Blizzard or whoever else aren’t my friends, they’re doing it as a profession and I’m doing it as a hobby with disposable income. I’m entitled to criticise it, even harshly, and I’m also entitled to stop buying it. The key issue with MMOs is that they’re intended to be cash cows for executives so if enough of us stopped playing, for example, there would be questions for the devs to answer internally but that’s not the players problem.

    Do not release incomplete and broken features. This is not acceptable to huge swathes of the paying consumer base. Goodwill is being lost with each of these controversies mounting on top of each other, some of which players like me saw coming back since late Stormblood. Do better.

    Thanks OP for the thread. This is a new system afaik, so theres bound to be complications and.. lets be real. The message they wrote might be unsatisfying to most of you, but their reaction is faster then probably most other companies would ever do.
    Yes it is our money, our subscription fee, this however should never justify harassment or even death threats.

    And in the midst of this hellfire. We have easter holidays so...
    Happy easter regardless of what is happening here at the moment.

    You certainly do act entitled, yes.

    But to be less snarky, you can voice your displeasure productively which has a better chance of leading to a better product with changes by the FFXIV that does care about its players
    Or you can rage and act spoiled and any decisions made because of that (if any) are more likely to come from square enix who doesnt care about you at all.
