So, I have my main and one alt. My main is female and my alt is male.

I find it ridiclous that I in theory have to buy store items twice, if I want them on both characters. I already paid for it once and that should be enough.

The reason why I play on two characters is pretty simple, I dont want to buy fantasia everytime I feel like playing a male or female.

Your thoughts?

I bought a mount on an old character. I started a new character on another server and stuck with that one. I no longer have that mount. As a result, I have no desire whatsoever to buy any other mount.

Making all mounts account wide might incentivize me. I mean, probably not, but theoretically.

I never bought anything from store and I never created an alt character. I'm baffled that they are not account-wide, this is really something that they have to improve.

Bought items (armors and such) should also be retrievable. It's kinda crazy you can spend real money and accidentally delete an item with no way to get it back without using your one-time account restore. This all compounds with the fact the non-event store armors take up space in the glamour wardrobe.

I've purchased a fair amount of things from mogstation. The only things I don't think my alt recieved when I made it were some of the glamour costumes. Though I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention as I was just annoyed at the mail icon being on the screen and had to clear something like 45 deliveries. (Some were also CE/Pre Order bonuses and promo items that were redeemed with event codes)

I honestly do not understand why anything would not be account wide besides being money grubby. It is one of those 'I gotcha' moments with any game that has a store. I know swtor was not perfect but I could just unlock items across characters, mounts, emotes, if you got enough of a clothing set it was unlocked for any and all characters on your account and you would want to make alts in that game because each class had a unique story to it so you never had to worry about your beef cake bounty hunter not having some of the armor sets you might have liked on a separate character. If you are going make a cash shop at least implement it well. The fact that emotes are per character just really makes me never want to buy them. You want money square? Make everything account wide or you get no money Thanks

Yup. If you own more than one characters then anything bought on the cash shop should go to all your characters. Should have been so from the beginning and should be fixed now instead of letting something like this persist.

I don't have the source but YoshiP once said that "he doesn't understand alts". As in, he doesn't understand the need for them. Granted, the cash shop is not his jurisdiction but it wouldn't surprise me if other like him in the cash shop department shared that mentality.

Hell, even myself some years ago, I didn't get it until someone said it was an rp thing and I replied with "say no more".
