FOR THE LOVE OF HROTHGAR

I love Hrothgar because they're just so cool amd unique. In a game full of humans with 'animal features', having a genuine Beast-like race is such a breath of fresh air.

I live how expressive they are, especially for how large they are, you sorta first expect them to be quite stoic and not as 'emotive' as they are in game.

I started off as a Miqo and stopped playing for a while, as I lost interest, but after a few friends said that FFXIV is getting a new 'beast-like' race, I had to give it another go. And I think because I fell in love with my character, it helped me fall in love with the game itself.

I don't think I'd ever change from Hrothgar permanently. I love them too much.

As for concerns, it's just the hairstyle issues that are the main issue. The only other one is perhaps just wishing they were a little more 'upright' in their normal stance and run/walk, but not as stiff as M/Roe. I really like how Hrothgar bounce a little more in their running animation.

Quite a few people probably will complain about us "whining" about the hair, but when we've gotten used to how high quality SE makes most things in this game despite existing limits, it's truly disappointing to see this new hair that looks so awful.

it's not even the ears (though that's a big part) unlike all other hair I know of it floats above the scalp, not properly connecting like it should, and the 2B hair from the side is truly cursed.

I won't be swapping off of catman anytime soon, but I also won't be using this hair, and would prefer the dev team make sure whatever new content is in line with the quality of the rest of the game instead of what we just received.

And for the record, the rest of the content this patch was excellent
