Master Recipe VIII and XI can't be "Used"

I have already reported this to Game Masters and it has been escalated, but I have no idea when someone will get back to me on this. So I'm posting it here in case anyone has encountered this issue and perhaps already found a resolution for it.

My character is already level 90 in all DoH and DoL jobs. I have already read Master Recipe books from III thru VII. But when I purchased Master Recipe books VIII thru IX for all crafting jobs, and when I right-click on any of them, the "Use" submenu option is grayed out. I have already checked my Crafting Log (N) and made sure I haven't already read them before, and this is evidenced by zero recipes for VIII and IX (in contrast to numerous recipes for III thru VII).

Has anyone had this problem? How did you resolve it, if you have?

I don't know if this matters, but I haven't done the final trial yet (i.e., Endwalker -- Confront the Endsinger on the Final Day) and have been putting it off. I don't think that would cause my issue, would it? I've gotten tired of doing these dungeons and trials and decided to level my crafting jobs at that point, that's why I stopped at that stage.

Probably a stupid question, but are you trying to use from your primary inventory or a secondary storage (chocobo saddlebag or retainer for example)? Can you screenshot what it looks like.

I hope you managed, but in case you didn't, or if anyone else runs into this problem:

The Use option is disabled if the Chocobo Saddlebag is open. Close that inventory and you should be able to Use items again.
