    Initial changes you'd like to see in PvP?

    General:
    -Crowd control split into three types: Disables (Anything that prevents you from taking actions, stun, silence, polymorph, sleep, freeze), Immobilization (Bind), slows (Heavy) and special (Charm and Hysteria from Limit Breaks.)
    -Draw-in effects are faster and don't lock out actions as long.

    -Tenacity mechanic introduced: When hit by a Disable or Immobilization effect, gain immunity to that type of effect for 7 seconds.

    -Purify immunity effect now only affects draw-in, knockback, and slow effects and is no longer a conditional.

    Warrior
    -Stun removed from Primal Rend and replaced with 75% Heavy for 3 seconds.
    -Blota now also stuns the target for 2 seconds. No longer applies Heavy.


    White Mage
    -Afflatus Purgation stun duration reduced from 3 to 2 seconds.

    Black Mage
    -Half-asleep can be applied through Tenacity. Sleep will not trigger during Tenacity.
    -Superflare Umbral Ice will instead Bind targets that are immune to Disables.

    Summoner
    -Mountain Buster no longer has a draw in effect.




    Frontlines:
    -Battle High effect completely removed or reduced to 15% max.


    Crystalline Conflict:

    -Damage and duration from from the knock-up stage hazard halved.


    I really just wanted to get some of the most obnoxious things out of the way, mainly the mindless instant aoe CC effects and a solution to CC chains in general. Now CC has to be spaced out on different targets rather than having them all funneled onto the same one.

    There's more class balance that needs to be done, but nerfing CC is a general QoL benefit to everyone.

    I have to agree with this post entirely. My biggest gripes are the CC being too rampant, and some classes are a bit over-tuned (WHM and SAM). I'm also glad to see someone else agreeing that the knock-up stage hazard on the wind map being a bit much. Unless there's a mechanic I'm missing, they expect us to use our Guard, which will more than likely be used before hand, and would likely be on CD. Otherwise, it's 30k damage that you couldn't do anything about.

    I'd like a change for SAM, namely that Zantetsuken only 1-shots if the enemies are under 33%. It no longer needs Kuzushi to proc this, and is balanced by the fact that it's a line AoE (meaning somebody WILL be low in health).

    it's a clown fiesta where you roll the dice and hope you have the better comp

    + Remove recovery
    + Add a DR to CC so people use it wisely
    + Nerf the total damage by 30% and make the damage more even across the classes
    + Nerf total heal by 20%
    + Decrease elixir usage time to 3 seconds
    + Force 1 Tank and 1 Healer Max in each Team

    less stuns across the board stun is a very powerfull cc on pvp with group... and shouldnt be around everywhere... and when someone has it need to be massive cds

    Stuns and cc is waaaaaaaay overtuned holy crap. So the nerfed blackmage sleep with this half alseep bs and then give other classes all these stuns binds on the shortest of cool downs. Then in frontlines its multiplied with 72 people. As yoshi p once said “do these devs even play their own game”

    There should not be any one shot ability/skill in pvp. It is an unfair mechanic. For example, a person can play their job to the highest skill level and an unskilled person can come by and get lucky or just because they play the right job waltz in and one shot. Bam! skill now irrelevant in pvp

    If your problem with PvP is "people are getting rewarded for killing other players" then your only solution is to start doing other content instead. Preferably immediately.

    Nah, that's how come backs happen.

    RNG gives one team all the objectives on their side, they basically get free Battle highs as a result
    One team sees they're in the lead and hunts them down, prioritizing the battle highs
    Score swings

    Honestly the actual changes they need to make

    1. Fix the Purify immunity bug
    2. Reduce the charge speed on WHMs limit break, remove the extra 3k hp they get for just existing
    3. Remove the damage component on WARs LB, they should get the hard CC/Guard break or Damage, not both
    4. Lower the Potency on DRG jumps now they have faster animations and thus less/no animation lock
    5. Buff Potency on SGE Shielding
    6. Make the Chitin animation clearer on SAM, in the heat of battle it's very hard to see when SAM throws up Chitin

    and most importantly

    Get rid of the cheaters
