Reduce people's ownership who has more than 10+ plots

There are still those who have like half the ward or entire ward and had been grandfathered for four expansions straight.

I think they had them long enough, and auto-demolishing had been indefinitely on suspension due to real life crisis that's happening in Ukraine/Russia.

So if possible, please start giving these massive plot owners like 30 days to decide on which plot they should consider keeping and auto-demolish the rest. At least the nicest thing dev can do is refund all of the plots they spent.

That should allow few folks to put lottery in those newly emptied plots.

And it'd be a better result of seeing people who own entire ward to see their houses being gone.

Theyre not going to punish people who were grandfathered into old systems and policies. Just like they're not going to do some roll back for people who won to compensate for people who got bugged. Life doesn't work that way. Its not all fair and sunshine and rainbows. Dont worry about old wards owned by 1 person it won't fix any problems. Just worry about you getting a house eventually and ways to improve the current system if its constructive and makes sense.

Well if they did that they'd have to get rid of all personals in the wards before 19, was it? Nah, retroactively applying rules is stupid when the developers were the ones with the oversights in the first place, at least in this case.

Besides it wouldn't fix the lack of supply issue, those plots would fill up asap and we'd be right back to square one of begging for more wards.

I agree with this. But those people should be compensated for the loss of those houses/plots. Also, I'm pretty sure they are effectively stuck. They might own a ward but I think if they try to move, the restriction will be imposed.

Its a shame. If they had like a whole ward beautifully decorated (or even just decorated) I'd feel differently but a large portion the of the 'ward holders' are old school botters who continue to ply their trade and control marketboards on their respective servers. I could do without them. But someone who put real effort into maintaining an entire ward would actually be someone worthy of envy.

That is a band-aid solution that doesn't really address the larger problem with a housing shortage. Sure lets say removing one group who got grandfathered in now opens up 15 or 30 plots. Those will have brief activity and fill up after the lottery is over. Your still back at square 1 as there is not enough houses to go around.

This existing housing system was never meant to handle the upsurge of players its gotten in the past couple years.

Yes, let's punish the players because the Devs made a terrible system. It's not a good solution to take things away from people. Especially when doing that would not open up the supply/demand chain. What housing needs is an overhaul.

Unless you are trying to defend those two who took over whole Goblet ward in Mateus. Then again, you are in Mateus and could possibly be one of the two.
