Understandable, if that is what is important to you. Of all the content mentioned on the webpage this is the only one that is designed to bar the majority from enjoying.

I fail to see the issues, the alliance raid this patch has been called by some the best alliance raid they've ever done (though I personally disagree) a lot of people are loving the pvp, the story is a good as ever. I fail to see what problems your referring to. I have been playing for years and i'm not even slightly tempted to leave.

The alliance raid is supposedly very good, and I too find PvP as it is now very fun, though it is extremely unbalanced. There's good in this game. I'm not really contesting that. But if you can't see what is right in front of you, well...you are willingly being ignorant to it all. I'm sorry, but it's true. Or perhaps you don't have the MMO experience that I and others do when it comes to reading the writing on the wall.

I don't however get why folks need to announce it. Unsub and leave. It's simple

What boggles the mind is that an archaic game known as Gaia Online handled the housing system LEAGUES better than FFXIV. You had a whole neighborhood of players but there were several neighborhoods across several channels. Housing was never a Black Friday bloodbath.

reminder that's also the same game that had actual academic papers on its failed economy. But that's neither here or there.

If some things don't change, and not just housing, soon...some will indeed leave. Maybe not a lot to matter much, but they will. But as time goes on, those numbers will increase as the game continues to stagnate on multiple fronts. As you sit there in your emptying Limsa plaza, waiting a long time for what used to be relatively quick queues for the most trivials of things, seeing the chat silent as the grave...you will wish those people had stayed and that SE had listened. This isn't just about housing. Housing is a symptom of a much larger issue that you and others are blind to.

FFXIV? the game that has been gaining popularity since 2015 with the launch of acclaimed expansion Heavensward losing players over Housing? more likely than you know /Sarcasm.

They have obviously spent time on the alliance raids and the new plates. I really like those two things, I think they're great. But it seems they have devoted everything into those two things. This is kind of ruining the patch, is it not?

PvP! you forgot PvP! also yoship mentioned the island sanctuary and criterion dungeons, i have a feeling that's what they are working on!
