Suggestion on current and future end of season rewards

Make it only the same portraits and the same amount of trophy crystals. No titles, no mounts. This encourages people being in ranked who legit like to play ranked or want to get the portrait for the first time, not people only in it for this season's Title/Mount. This also lessens the degree of people hacking/cheating because they know they're not going to get anything new for doing it.

This leaves you with a healthier ranked PvP full of people either in it for the portrait rewards, or just because they like playing ranked.

This actually sounds good! I wouldn't mind the ranking rewards to stay the same while the battle pass lvl 25 changing every couple of seasons

Would that not risk greatly diminishing the pool of players over time. If someones only goal was a 1 time diamond border what then when they get it? That 1 person is gone from the pool forever? Where does this leave the mode after a year or two.

Where is the mode left if everybody ends up cheating and people leave because of them? The same place. This at least takes the majority of the cheaters out of the pool.

New people get chance at rewards they might have missed the first time. Feast ended up being same 100 people each time and rest of the hundreds of thousands of players didn't even try cause it seemed impossible Multiple same rewards worked for Ishgard restoration

I honestly dont think that makes them go away. To many games people cheat in unranked unrewarded situations because they get off on making other people lose not because it makes them gain anything.

That's assuming that the only reason they're playing ranked CC is to get a portrait border, and not because it's fun.
SE made a fun mode (that needs addressing) and I think we should at least try to let it stand on its own merits.
I mean, there are people who do ultimates over and over, not because they have any more weapons to get, but because it's fun.

Honestly id be down for a season to have no series, no borders, no new glams in shops literally nothing. The system exists on its own merits and for no other reasons. Im not altogether convinced itd survive but maybe yall could surprise me.

It's why I want them to do this. The mode should be able to stand on its own feet, without titles or mounts attached to ranked. Hell, we have so many titles already in PvP that I don't think we need any more.

Top 100 rewards is the only reason people will cheat / wintrade, I don't necessarily think they should exist unless SE can actually start implementing anti-cheat measures into their game, it's kind of a wild west like it was with feast.
