Putting my 2cents in about Housing

Listen. Everyone’s very divided on the issue, I get it. Some love the new lotto system. Some hate it. I see a bunch of “you asked for it” comments too. So I figured I’d put my two cents in because I have been playing since 2015 and would like to see my only complaint about the game worked on.

There’s no reason housing should be this big of an issue. The game itself has come so far since launch but housing seems to be the #1 complaint.
The old system was unfair yeah but the new system is just as bad.
Launching Ishgard housing all at once was a mistake, IMO. It should’ve been done in waves. Obviously everyone’s going to swarm it. Yeah I’m a little miffed because I’ve been waiting since Heavensward to have a house in Ishgard.
There’s just not enough Medium and Large personal plots as made apparent by how many people bid on those. Now that the first auction wave has gone out, anyone’s chance on getting those is gone. They all get claimed because this is the big hype week.
Can’t we just have instanced housing? Maybe more wards? There’s got to be an ACTUAL fix so everyone can have a house. Having only 6 wards/12 areas for the entire server’s personal housing is very clearly not enough.

Maybe I’ll finally get a medium house(and out of my poorly located Lavender Bed Small) if they ever open up Sharlayan or something .-. Ishgard obv isn’t gonna happen.
