What is going on with Square Enix and the 14 team?

This is just a result of trying to spread themselves too thin all in a short time frame by releasing too many feature systems at the same time. E.g. Duty Support, Update to NG+, Adventurer Plates, and the housing system. I don't really see why one of these, or even 2 at the minimum couldn't come in a later minor patch, e.g. 6.15, or do a 6.18.

I simply don't buy this. Duty support took a little time, sure. NG+ took a bit probably(something I don't think anyone cares about and have never seen anyone clamoring for), Adventure plates probably took the most time of anything but could have been done in a single day with how limited and meaningless they are, and the housing system was already there and the new districts have been in development for...what? 3+ years now?

Most of these features were day-long/week-long projects at best. So unless they only have one developer working there, I'm unsure what could possibly have been so taxing to make happen. They've already cut back on the amount of actual content they release with patches as it is. To me, most of these features were easy projects to knock out to pad the patch notes.

The most taxing thing they have done is the new PvP stuff. And good on them for actually delivering on something. It is unbalanced as can be, but that's not surprising. But the rest of it? It's a very mediocre and lackluster patch with half-assed new systems and a complete screw up on the most basic of tasks.

Do they give us everything? No. But it's a lie to say they don't intend/haven't given us things we've asked for

I do find it a little hard to believe that instanced housing is some sort of impossibility. Throwing more housing wards at us will never really fix the core issue, and, frankly, a proper instanced housing could open up a lot more possibilities in terms of how they could implement housing - which I think the majority of the playerbase would like.

What about Living Dead and the fact it took them 7 years to fix this issue which was an inconvenience for many? 7 years of people easily pointing out its flaws.

Glamour dressers being available in housing never happened either. Let's not talk about what absolute bullshit the housing system is.

Viera and Hrothgar players were left in the cold during Shadowbringers and props to the developers for keeping their word. After two years of silence.

I could go on and on. They pick and choose. My first example would have been easily fixed if they actually listened to some of their players.

The 2 races for sure got the shorthand moreso Hroth than Viera but they're at least taking steps (better ones for Viera though admittedly, work still needs to be done on both).

There's a difference between being able to use and being able to stay alive after/if it procs. I see nothing wrong with a skill that requires help from others. Gave healers something to look out for. Idk call it opinions but thats not what I classify as broken
