What is going on with Square Enix and the 14 team?

We... don't get less gear.
We definitely get more than back when the game started.

We get 1 dg instead of 2 (thanks god), and because of that, they add other different kinds of cool content.

Four sets I can think of are reused assets. This expansion has not been a glowing example of skilled gear design. Every expansion has seen less sets then the last one. You can say quality is better they are more unique, that doesn't invalidate the statement less sets.
