I was literally thinking something similar to this the other day when I was running through Orbonne for fun. I just love the mechanics. And look at Ridorana too - Construct 7 is my favorite boss in that raid. It's funny how so many people complain about the math, but I think it's genius. It seems like all the mechanics people complain about are my favorite. StB had the most fun gameplay for me in this game. Back then the story didn't matter much because I was having so much fun actually playing the game. In SHB my focus shifted a little more towards the story because of that trailer. But by the time the story hype was over, I realized there wasn't much I was excited about as far as gameplay.

I think my gameplay style is more...unconventional? Like running content without a healer or any type of non traditional party makeup, or soloing things. I want more content with prenerfed TG Cid type mechanics or just anything where you have to pay attention - some type of harder midcore content. But it looks like this game is going to be 2 extremes - easy msq level content or savage/ultimate and no in between.

I do have some hope for the newest alliance raid and I'm interested in seeing the other 2 raids in the trilogy. But other than that the only thing I'm remotely interested in is dragging myself through solo potd until I either clear it or rage quit again.
