I will never forget the ''pissed off face'' he did when he repeated the excuses about hrothgar ears in the patch notes video.

Like I say, "If they give you what you want, would you pay a higher price for it?" Plus nothing is stopping you from take a break from it. Is FFXIV is perfect? Heck No, there is alot of problems they need to fixed but I rather being here than some other games right now (My heart breaks for WoW right now since I was with them from the start)
Maybe it's just time for someone that's not Yoshi P to be lead game developer? No king rules forever or whatever the line from the post Lich King cutscene was.
It doesn't make any sense to compare an intentional design (healers, 6.1 job changes and hrothgar) with a simple bug with a new feature that will be fixed asap.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

You are right, this is actually bottom of the barrel mistake, to manage to mess up a number randomizer is really top tier in the failing department, especially for a company like SE.
Also "simple bug" leaving people without their 50m they put up on houses, and making them probably unable to get one because every plot that is now available will get hammered with tickets ?
Which in itself is weird when he was the one who pushed for a bestial playable race to be added to the game in the first place. (Only to continue showcasing his female lalafell during Live Letters and admitting to his main character being a female Raen in a past interview!)
What you people absolutely don't understand is that taking a break accomplishes nothing. It's not as if you're overly excited coming back to the same cycle of being ignored as a healer for example. Simply walking away doesn't subdue years of mismanagement and lack of trust by ignoring part of your loyal playerbase. I'm glad it works for people like you but some of us like to know what we're getting into and willingly blinding ourselves to glaring issues ain't working.Like I say, "If they give you what you want, would you pay a higher price for it?" While there are problems to be as hyperbolic as some here are being is a bit disingenuous don't you think? Most of the issues brought up have been addressed or are being reviewed, that would never happen in say WoW. I will be happy as long as I know it is being addressed or reviewed. I will admit there are problems of course but they fact they have been pretty open about it and willing to try to make amends/adjustments where possible tells me this ain't close to begin nearly as bad as WoW, no dev has gone "We don't want you playing *insert class here*" yet.
Nothing will ever come close to as tone-deaf as WoW was during BfA and Shadowlands by a mile given the issues that took months for them to address were brought up in beta and promptly ignored.
The whataboutism of WoW needs to stop trying to color over the problems FF14 faces. Its getting quite old of a diversion.
I totally agree with you on this, atleast they are listening to us and trying to make the changes as they go (I remember that we wanted PVP changes for a very long long time). I mean it freaking took Blizzard losing half of the player base to even look at Cross-faction play. While there are problems to be as hyperbolic as some here are being is a bit disingenuous don't you think?
