Everyone has every right to be upset about Housing today

Not having more wards in Goblet/Lavender Beds/Shirogane/Mist, and 24 wards in Empyreum but split from 1-18 as FC only and 19-24 as Personal only...

Not to mention, people getting Winning Number 0 as the lottery jackpot for the house...

I honestly think people who are in charge of housing development need to start thinking ahead and start making more wards way ahead because it's been whole expansion they didn't really add new wards just to prepare Ishgard housing.

Even after Ishgard housing, it's still not enough because there aren't enough diverse options for players to choose if they want to buy in Ishgard, and there are those who refuse to move to relocate to Ishgard.

The auto-demolish won't be happening soon due to the IRL crisis that some people are experiencing. It's a mess we are in.

We need more wards. at least up to 36 to 39. Please just, add more wards. This is painful.

Ya I think the best damage control to the currently raging inferno is to do ward increases, and not piddle 4 or 5, massive ward increases. The game makes alot of money, they need to be allowed to spend it. I couldnt give 2 rats behinds about helping fund new projects, I dont play single player games. Our money should go to our game.

You can't talk bad about it otherwise you are just being toxic. Expecting basic level functionality for the sub money you pay every month is too much. Enjoy what you have! The fact that I can pay the same amount of money as someone else but can LITERALLY never touch a huge feature of the game unless I win a dice roll is beyond dumb.
Square just let anyone buy a house, I know there are limited servers now but what about in the past before silicon and servers were reaching their limit? This whole thing from the moment they pulled the rug out from under private buyers with the bs 75/25 split to now is just super frustrating to watch. I want to like this feature but since it's inception I have seen almost nothing but bad decision after bad decision.

Least guys had houses to get those of us on the Materia DC couldn't even buy houses till 6.1 and then to make it worse they made every single one lottery from ward 1 to 24 and now this is the result so know I'm piss off and alot of others are too from my realm

They need to make private housing districts all small homes and increase the plot numbers just like any city would do. I've said it in multiple places but the results on the wards speak for themselves. FCs do not want small houses, they want mediums and larges. The only reason FCs got smalls is due to a lack of funds, and owning a house already gave them a fast track to upgrade to a bigger house if it opened up later.

Oh and yes I'm also angry about this because of the way they handled the lotto. They should have had a single point where you put in a lotto ticket for a house of a specific size. This eliminates the problem of having all the people put votes on the same two plots because they are the first plots in the district. Most people would be happy to have a house, period, even if it isn't the one by the market board.

I think they really think most servers have far more free companies than they really have. Many FC are dead or down to just one player. And others no longer exist. They made 18 wards for FC in every area. Not considering that they do not need that many FC houses.

Our FC entered a bid… we had nine members bid on one large plot in Ishtard…winning number 0. Everyone is pissed. Some took their money as a refund not understanding that the system is broken. So now what happens? Since our FC was literally the only one bidding on the plot do we get it by default or are we going to lose it when they “fix” the issue and one of the people who already took their refund wins so can’t claim.

Housing is totally screwed and it really doesn’t seem like anyone cares.

If i wanted a small I would literally buy an apartment and be happy.

They just need to cut their losses and make instanced and allow the player or FC expand from their with their own gil.

I mean they can still have mediums in a layout for single home purchasers. Apartments lack actual gameplay functionality that houses have such as gardening and also lack the ability to use outdoor decorations. My apartment is a derelict, useless room that exists in lavender beds that hasn't been altered or changed in years. Same with the FC rooms, unfortunately. If you think you'd be happy with an apartment, you'd be 100% wrong.

After almost nearing 10 years of this game and not including 1.0, you would think devs would at least understand how many times they've made mistakes and caused massive uproars about housing drama. But all they do is bandaiding over and over again. And this is finally hitting them real hard.
