I would like to suggest that the guild residential area should be set up with only L, M, and houses. It is a situation where there are many people in the guild. Why do you need a poor and broken S hut?

I think they should use an upgrade system. Buy a small for x gil. Upgrade to medium for xx gil. Upgrade to large for xxx gil.
I am able to carry 100+ pieces of armor in the lining of my underwear. Pocket dimension houses are perfectly believable in this setting.
But you cannot carry 1000 rings... Pocket dimensions don't appear to follow actual logic...
Upgrade system wouldnt work with the housing wards because the footprint space on the map is set. Making it larger would require altering the landscape. If anything IMO could have a size expansion system currently it would be apartments and FC rooms (which given the doorway and such I feel like they made those and the company workshop by digging below the basement of the house lol)
But couldn't the house just follow the current dimension size of the landscape it was original built in? Just making the house...taller with extra floors? :OBut you cannot carry 1000 rings... Pocket dimensions don't appear to follow actual logic...

I could be wrong but I think she is talking about the internal space of the house, which is instanced. But you cannot carry 1000 rings... Pocket dimensions don't appear to follow actual logic...

same reason we have small houses in real life, because not everyone can afford to buy a mansion
Because many do not want a large or medium for their fc, we are happy with a small. We would be happy with a group customizable apartment that you could get advanced company actions and workshop features too and everyone who wants a personal house could have them. Though now that my friend is standing by the house she would have won out of protest and able to converse with other people in shout chat I can honestly see the appeal of the housing. It was different in swtor because each house you could talk to the whole planet from your instance house so if they ever had instance housing I would want this to be a feature at the very least. It actually made me feel like we were in an mmo again instead of solo game. If I want to feel at peace and utterly alone I would go play dark souls when it strikes this mood. I like this atmosphere it creates.
I like small houses
Honestly, earnestly, genuinely.

its easier on design because when they originally said they were making FC only wards they said that they would basically adjust it based off of demand over time. converting ward to private or vice versa. so keeping them designed the same in theory all they would have to do is flip a tag to make an FC ward available to private owners would be my guess
