The Archons in NG+

Just doing a run of ARR NG+ and Minfilia just said this:

"When the realm began its descent into chaos, and [the Sharlayans] fled for the motherland, they alone chose to remain here. These noble men and women were called the Archons."

Is that still accurate? I was under the impression the archons were Sharlayans who distinguished themselves in a specific field. Or is that just a holdover from ARR and is now officially retconned?

That's still relevant. It's true an Archon is someone who distinguished themselves in their field but when Minfilia was speaking of them she was only talking about the archons who made up the organization that eventually became the Scions (Path of the Twelve)

I'd say moreso poor word choice. To her they were the Archons of the Scions yes but the phrasing makes it sound as if they were the only Archons which is clearly not the case even in ARR given how we had at least Rammbroes.
