no info from square yet so no way to know whether or not refunding is problematic, but definitely err on the side of caution if you have the choice basically
ward 20, plot 13 on Sarg just says "there were no participants in this lottery" but it clearly says 7 participants
One person in my FC was one of the bidders & she gets the same message & can't view the winning number
What they should do is allow every player who bid on a plot where the #0 bug happened to enter the draw again on that same plot, so we can compete between us and not have other players who lost fair and square to join us on the bidding, thus penalizing us for a bug which isn't our doing.
Or even easier, just offset by +1 so the one with ticket number 1 should have won. What they should do is allow every player who bid on a plot where the #0 bug happened to enter the draw again on that same plot, so we can compete between us and not have other players who lost fair and square to join us on the bidding, thus penalizing us for a bug which isn't our doing.
They say "We are investigating and responding to this issue as soon as possible while checking the entries in our database."
I'm just hoping that they are not going to just put the 0 winner house back to the lottery pool, and we have to wait for 4 days and compete with more people cuz there will be more people didnt get the house and wanting to get in another lottery.
aye....![]()
based on your answer they should change all the 0's to a 1 making 1st come entries win and solve the problem .....contact said person and ask them to go back to their winning pot and put back the gil if they have taken it out.
sagacious
Usually I'm pretty forgiving of bugs in game, but this one redefines stupid. Random number generators are literally the second lesson in programming straight after 'hello world' and are like 4 lines of code - incredibly easy to code, incredibly easy to test. Square's people failed on both counts. And yea, all arrays in programming start at zero so 1-32 entries actually means array number 0-31: Programming 101 man. The fact that this stupid system even exists as opposed to all people simply being allocated a data block like other games is ridiculous. Square can store all the ridiculous lots of inventory, achievements, glamour's, etc. you have but can't spare some data rows for your house settings - omg, hire some programmers who know what they are doing. How could you have spent months, working on a problem defined for years, and come up with a stupid lottery system that doesn't even work. As other threads have correctly said, you will be lucky if you ever see 3 other people in your other housing ward district in the time that you are there - this is not a load issue. Hire some people who actually know how to code ffs.
We all lost 24 hours+ of game time - during our peak playing periods for this stupid rollout, and will lose more again for emergency fixes. Here's my question - where's our refund?
