What's the use of this?

it shows up at the bottom of the retainer list when you mouse over the retainer, so you can make a note of what each retainer is storing, etc and know without having to check them in case you forget.

Is it just me or do the comments keep disappearing?

Yeah, retainer comments keep disappearing, I was trying to use them to label how I organize my extra stuff but if the comments keep disappearing than this feature seems broken?

Apologies for the late reply. The issue still persists, here's what I could gather:

- Does the issue happen specifically under a certain condition? Please clarify in detail.

• For me, they seem to disappear whenever I log out. At least, when I just added comments and logged out and back in, they were all gone.
• Simply exiting the retainer bell menu does not remove the comments.
• I could only reproduce the issue on my main character, which is on Light/Shiva. The issue does not appear on my alt, which is on Crystal/Balmung, whose retainer's comment does not disappear even after months of not logging into that character.

- Platform (Playstation 4 or 5, Steam/Windows, or Mac)

Checked on

• Windows via Steam
• Linux via Steam/Proton Experimental

Issue persists.

Logging out and in again:

- Does any specific error message/code occur when the issue happens?

No.

- Do the comments disappear after exiting the game or after a short period of time once inputted? Please clarify.

The issue has been triggered by:

• logging out
• restarting the game

The issue has NOT been triggered by:

• stepping away from the retainer bell
• changing areas
• entering instanced duties

In summary, from what I can gather it might be related to retainer comments not being properly saved or uploaded to the server before logging out, and the issue seems to only affect certain servers or data centers.

I hope that this will help to resolve the issues and I extend my gratitude for the attention.
