I like to think that Azeyma's animal form is a lion (maybe the Komainu?). After all, Rhalgr is a falcon, and his familiar that we fight is a falcon as well. Just before Azeyma, we fight her lion familiars.

I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
I can't see Deryk & the Opo-Opo being Llymlaen & Nophica, since the latter two are goddesses. Would be strange for a goddess to pick a male midlander form.
The golem at the Earth Gateway could be Nophica, since she's the "tender of soils and harvests and goddess of abundance", while Althyk is the "surveyor of change and god of space and time"
Wait what?! If that's the case it absolutely backs up the idea of azyema manifesting as sunlight, unless there's an azyema I've been missing
No cat around the 7th heaven.
Legit didn't consider that... But if there's an actual nald'thal vessel flitting about, and no azyema it kinda sinks that theory.I'm not convinced on the sun and moon thing. If they're going to manifest, I think it's going to be as minions. Doubly so if they take those forms when venturing outside the realm of the gods.
Also, given the connection of the "rabbit on the moon" in Japanese mythology, Menphina has at least some connection to rabbit symbolism, while Halone does not.
I could buy that. I was legit wild mass guessing on those two... Huh... Now I wonder if Deryk is Althyk, king of the gods wandering around observing change and all thatI can't see Deryk & the Opo-Opo being Llymlaen & Nophica, since the latter two are goddesses. While it might make sense due to butterflies being a common motif in Japanese mythology of the afterlife, I have some skepticism, because I spotted the butterflies before any of the other animals in Omphalos showed up, ie before doing the raid or even meeting the Twelve. At that time, I wasn't sure if this was supposed to represent one of the Twelve, or if it was just a piece of environmental artwork that came with the bushes.
I thought animal minions were there when you entered the zone? I could have sworn when you did the first 'look around' they were already there, because I remember running into the rabbit and then noticing the random minions and thinking they were a silly but cute way to add environmentals to a instanced zone.
Most of the minions are there from the beginning. The only two that are not, as far as I could find, are the hawk and spriggan representing Rhalgr and Byregot.
Much as angry bunny Halone amuses me (ideal spearwoman has dem bunny jumps), I’d bet that’s Menphina. Japan loves their moon rabbits.
Also on the owlette=Thaliak train cus of the wisdom association.
Dunno why Nymeia is an Ala Mhigan fighting fish, but I think Nymeia is an Ala Mhigan fighting fish.
Wait- what if Halone is the Ala Mhigan fighting fish?
Man, Golem Althyk just makes me imagine Titan Extreme mixed with Alexander Prime's time stops. Imagine having to dodge a Landslide that stops you beforehand. Ooof!

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Nah, I know for a fact the fish was there right from the start I thought it was interesting but hey, there was already a monkey, why not a fish. If there's butterfly's for nald'thal then I'm doubling down on angry bunny halone. While it might make sense due to butterflies being a common motif in Japanese mythology of the afterlife, I have some skepticism, because I spotted the butterflies before any of the other animals in Omphalos showed up, ie before doing the raid or even meeting the Twelve. Why's she hanging around the water gate then?
You said it, not me. All blame is on you when they put this on the fight cause you gave the devs ideas!
