A fix all solution to Job Specific glamour?

I had an idea today looking through all the reworked and reused PvP glams that have been added in patch 6.1. Most of these gear sets are job specific making them less desirable to many players who play multiple jobs and share gear sets across similar rolls.

I agree that a BLM shouldn't be able to wear a SMN's horn on their head.. this would look odd and be against FF series lore.

So what if we could glamour multiple pieces of gear to one gear piece? For example, I glam a BLM only piece to my new caster gear and also glam and SMN only piece to it as well based on a slots type system, and each glam would show based on what corresponding job I'm on.

I understand the Devs MAY have thought of this already and it may be difficult to work it into the coding, but we also have flying in ARR now.. and Job specific gear is an old gearing system from ARR as well. More importantly.. they're all but useless to me. But I really like some of these glams.

Btw, I think this will become more of a need than an want as each new job expands the various rolls. Also, Tataru worked hard on the new glams added for each job in EW.. But is anyone still using them?

This is what Glamour Plates are for. We just need more of them.

YoshiP tends to respond to requests about cross class glamour (sans relic gear) with massive strawman arguments that no longer hold water. The glamour plate system is also something intended to allow you to store outfits you've made to use whenever you like (provided they're usable by your job) and for the longest time said plates could only be used in the big cities. This past update they finally enabled them to be activated and switched at any sanctuary area. If you ask me though they just need to be available anywhere that you are.
