Oh please. They read the forums. They just rarely say anything because they can’t react in real time to the million topics that get generated on a daily basis. You can’t design things that take 3 - 4 months to develop by interacting with the shifting whims of people on here. Best they can do is react to general trends or implement an idea they saw and here and liked. But by the time it comes out the thread they got the idea from is probably buried in page 600 of the forums and no one remembers it.
if they read the forums they would've seen the years of hairstyle discussion around Hrothgar and not released those monstrosities.
it's either that or they disregarded those discussions which is no better.
ignored or discarded. pick your poison.
Ignored. And it didn’t pay off. So they’re now asking for more feedback on here to see what they can do to placate the situation.
I mean I just tried to tell them what they didn’t want to hear in the main thread. Whatever they do is up to them. But I think it’s what everyone has been wanting, or the gist of it anyways.
You should also say your piece there, just in case that’s the only thread they decide to focus on.

At this point they should just pay whatever royalties required to the modders and release ingame the dozens of hairstiles they've adapted, including the ones added in this patch but a lot less hideous.
Might be me being hyperbolic, but seems like they are falling back into their 1.0 ideology of 'patch it later'. I want to give the team some benefit of the doubt and suggest that maybe FF16 is taking away from 14. SQ-EN likes to spread their talent thin for whatever reason.
