I've played so many games in the last three or four days (whenever i started new pvp) and what I found is that SAM and WHM are terrifying to fight if those enemies know what they're doing. SAM LB is on a 120s charge time, requires that Chiten set up - Kuzushi only lasts for 3s - before they can pop that thing. I suggest looking at the enemy tab which clearly shows you if they have LB charge ready. CC requires situational awareness, your HUD helps with that and if you fell for a SAM baiting, that's honestly on you. Yes, the debuff triggering Kuzushi definitely needs to get fixed so only direct attack would trigger it but otherwise, considering most of the jobs are good if you play it right (i still think gnb needs a bit of buff). Also, I've killed so many WHM both as SGE and BLM and I've baited enough SAM as SGE because so many people tunnel vision and think the objective is to kill people instead of pushing the crystal--

--that no matter how many kills they have and no matter how high they are on the kill/damage list, they're not winning. There's a reason that when I play BLM that I play an ice mage because people sleep on that disruption that cc can do - it's how I've annoyed these so called op jobs. Honestly, I'm not gonna berate you for whether you're good enough or not but I would ask that you take a moment and look at your own and your team's display during a fight. What your job's role is and what its strength and weaknesses are. I also play SAM in pvp for good measure and I know enough to know when to pull out and run and when the stay as well as when to bait my LB - that thing still has hefty damage if it doesn't one shot so it can still help if you didn't manage to bait.
