Bring back Kaiten please. It feels off and not really fun without it. I play all jobs yet Sam is my main, do most contents on it untill im burnt out and play other classes. Please bring back Kaiten, the job feel clunky and unfun to play

BRING KAITEN BACK!
I couldn’t have worded this analogy any better myself. This is exactly how I feel about so many jobs now! This is objectively bad design and they just keep leaning further into it. Players don't have agency anymore. They are given a single-octave baby piano and expected to slowly plink away to sheet music at a snail-like 60 bpm with the rest of the class until teacher says time up, lets practice movement 2. This is hardly a game anymore. It's band class and the only payoff you are getting is a participation trophy because only your parents bothered to endure that end of semester performance.
Bring Kaiten back, and bring back our direct crits. The most visually impressive moves in our kit put up such mediocre numbers. I know it sounds dumb, but those big hits really do have some kind of psychological reward component. I couldn't begin to tell you what my overall DPS is, or if I'm actually pulling my weight as well as I possibly could be in a fight, but I will always remember the giddy excitement of hitting a finisher back in 6.0 and taking a sizable chunk out of an enemy's HP bar.
If I wanted my spenders to look flashy but feel meaningless, I'd go back to WoW and play a Retribution paladin. If this trend continues, they may as well just make Meikyo Shisui a trait, and turn the Sen gauge into basically a Holy Power meter that's constantly being filled and spent.
(that last part was a joke, not a legitimate suggestion)
