Ya know, I have been observing many players lately in our beloved game. I am utterly disgusted with how things have become. SE decides to fix a non-intentional glitch for the Garuda Primal battle, which causes the infamous Black Mage Burn combat strategy to now become obsolete, and the player base cries about it?
So now that SE has decided to make a BOSS fight actually difficult what is the issue?
Another issue I have with players is this NEED to stack certain classes for every dungeon and encounter is utterly ridiculous, X amount of warriors/X amount of black mages/X amount of bards/and a White Mage. The player base has chosen to condemn three classes that are actually great and these are the Dragoon/Paladin/Monk, so I ask the player base...
what is your issue with these classes? The skill curve too hard for you to adapt to? The idea of working for your victory bothers you? Its obviously something.
Heres a few observations for the player base, you ready?
A: With the implementation of the Garuda Primal fight we have been introduced to an active boss fight where positioning and moving to safety have become the new standard in which we have to adapt. Sorry ladies and gentlemen but the game is only going to get harder closer to 2.0 so might as well get used to it the concept of BOSS content is to make sure you are PROPERLY GEARED! This is how RPG's work in a general sense so why does everyone think AF gear is going to cut it? Ultimately you will mix and match sets from time to time to produce the best results.
B: Easy mode strats are crippling the game, if the issue with the shunned classes is stats or skills or over all usefulness how do you expect SE to fix them if you the player doesnt touch them? Data needs to be collected in order for work to get done and results to appear. Its kinda common sense does your boss pay you if he cant see your work?
C: SE finally merged the Market Wards and made them available from any city via the mercantile houses yet everyone is still using Ul'dah and causing serious undercuts? Dont get me wrong I understand economics but good hard working crafter shouldnt have to suffer because the majority of the player base doesnt want to check other markets? I think its high time we did something about that ridiculous behavior.
D: Power Leveling should just quit at all together, 100K and hour to go farm cadavers because of humanoid multiplier XP? Any moron can get to 50 at that point you either know your class or you dont. So how do you expect to obtain a victory in any instance or any primal if you got power leveled to 50 and you think your good? Sorry it doesnt work that way the point of going from 1-50 and working for it is to learn and master as you climb to the top. Skill "Do you have it"?
E: People have been telling me a lot if I dont level every class I wont accomplish much in this game? Well that ladies and gentlemen is a load of nonsense, If I for example want to only play a White Mage then what does it matter if I dont have Warrior or Black Mage leveled? I will play what I enjoy as should everyone.
Well thats all I really have to say you either agree or you dont, I could honestly care less, this community has done nothing but whine and cry to the devs wanting things to be easier going towards end game, but last I checked and end game boss wasnt designed to just fall, it is designed to be something you work for and earn.
