Thread: 6.1 PvP: Amazing!!

Good morning everyone & devs!

Despite the negativity flow that’s been overflooding the forums (mainly 6.1 SAM’s changes which I object & appraise the changes) PvP just feels truly alive & given the consolidation of abilities it all makes it more fun & hopefully they’ll add more PvP matches, hoping for one similarly to WoW’s Battleground capture the flag!

There should be additional changes in PvP such as removing overtime from CC (Crystal conflict) and some jobs getting nerfed while others are in dire need of a buff are examples of many.

Those are balancing issues than can be implemented and require a little bit of time to collect the data of what the issues are so they are all addressed. Not so much about the pvp mode itself.
The bombs however! They need to chill!

I'd say it's an improvement over the Feast, though some things like questionable matchmaking, absurd amounts of CC that Purify doesn't really help with, and dicey job balance are making it rather unpleasant for me at times.

I know many may not like what I'm going to say but, they should remove crowd control completely.

If anyone else has repeatedly given up on even casual PvP in disgust, and is wondering if it's worth learning an entire new random set of abilities almost unrelated to your job AGAIN: No, not it is not.

it's literally 6 skill are you illiterate or what?

An entire rotation with 3/4 skills? And yes it is related. Some of then i wish to have at pve. So yeah its worth it lmao.

CC is way unbalanced and needs to have the same party structure on each team. I understand why they removed required roles, but it's a negative impact on the matches themselves. If you have 4 dps on one team and only 2 on the other the latter team always gets ripped to shreds no matter what makes up the party after it. It could be fun, but at the moment it's not.
