    Dear Bioblaster

    Kindly get the hell out of my machinery rotation, I'm trying to get to Chainsaw and I don't feel like approaching the mass of angry DPS running towards me.

    Maybe consider rotating with Scatter Gun instead of the stuff I use to poke people from a more reasonable range? You two seem like you would be friends consider you have the EXACT same range. Or, I dunno, let me Bioblast my party for heals instead as an option so I can move on with my poking.

    Kindly, a Machinist trying to actually play as a Sniper.

    P.S.: I used to apreciate you as a perfect way to activate Wildfire in a sort of fire and forget solution that would create an amazing burst. But since you must be a blight on my existance, that one good quality of yours had to be qualified as a bug.

    Agree. It feels really clunky and messes with the "sniper" fantasy.

    Bioblaster having 12y range, and then being tied to same button with 3 other abilities that have 25y range just feels bad.

    Agreed, we could also really use that sniper as a glamour, pretty please.

    This isn't even my only issue with MCH but I think it is my greatest one. Staying at a distance is very important to survivability and viability of this guy.

    I more often find myself just looking for any oportunity to dump Bioblaster away. So I'll see this charging in Tank with guard up and I'll just dump Bioblaster on him anyway not because I'm hoping to do anything to the guy, but because I want this skill gone from my bar so I can get at least my Air Anchor out. Hell, I will sprint after a fleeing oponent while spamming the button in the hopes of just getting my rotation running again.

    Having this issue every 3 button presses makes me over-cap half my kit just because of this one ability. I don't think I've ever ran out of stacks as a block on the machinery stuff, I've only ever ran into the Bioblaster block. This also doubles as an Analysis block because I don't really want to throw Analysis on a Bioblaster I'll just end up dumping just to get to a skill with actual range.

    With how they've reworked the Ranged DPS roles in PvP to play more of being at a distance, Bioblaster is a really big offender in the general theme of how Machinist functions in PvP in my opinion. I think the only time I pair Bioblaster is if I know Wildfire is up, so I can waste it ontop of Scattergun and then run off to safety then go back to working up heat stacks.

    And like sure, Scattergun exists but that seems more of an emergency 'get away from me' skill which fits the class, but Bioblaster invites you to get within the danger zone of other enemies to dump a very underwhelming DoT onto them ontop of wasting a charge to get onto the actual useful skills of the rotation, plus the 75% heavy generally isn't worth the charge of Analysis either. It feels like unnecessary bloat.

    Exactly! It's a total of 16k damage but spread out over 9 seconds. It feels like: "You go there and get under the range of their 3 Dragoons or I'm keeping all those skills to myself!" And for what? A DoT they can easily heal away? No way I'm spending Analysis on this garbage, either, especially if all that does is add a pathetic slow they won't even need to remove because I'm now well within range of most things they'll want to throw at me anyways.

    Maybe it would be worth if I could hit the entire party with it, but getting close to an entire 5-man team?! Are you insane?! How do you think I'll make it out alive from that move? No ammount of Guard in the World will save my squishy behind.

    Well the main reason why I'll say Heavy is probably the worst CC in the game is because almost every class has a dash or mobility ability available to them, so they can afford to be Heavy'd since they'll just jump to their target and start a fight.

    It's like they decided this class NEEDED to be forced to go into borderline Melee range so that they can become a free kill.

    And ofc they would do that to Machinist of all things.

    I wouldn't mind Bioblast in it's current iteration IF it leaped you within range to use it (once again, just like in PVE, people claim that MCH is some super mobile god, yet it is one of the few DPS with no movement tools such as a gap closer or back leap).

    Though, ideally, I'd like to see Scattergun change into the current version of Analysis+Bioblaster after use (knockback into heavy = ultimate get away from me button, pretty cool combo that I rarely get to pull off with how contextual Analysis+Bioblaster is now).
