    I want to really want to love MCH in pvp, but bioblaster is a tad irritating. Its not that it doesn't have a good use, it is very nice for analysis+bioblaster to catch a high priority target. But it really messes up the gameplay flow as you have to wait to burn it in a more safe manner. This means your basically sitting on your thumbs and firing potshots with charged blast as your kit is now locked up.

    I wouldn't want to change scattergun into bioblaster as its got its own purpose, aoe that double taps and knocks back.

    Bioblaster really needs to be its own button.

    Also I feel maybe chainsaw should apply a debuff like a healing received debuff. The 5% chance to kill is basically a 1/20 chance to get a kill or kills that feels really undeserved. I often find myself just raw using it without analysis as I would rather just use the analysis on drill for extra damage potency thats guaranteed.

    How dare my "delete any job I want every 90sec" job has a single weakness?!

    Seriously tho, it does need this weakness, every ranged has one, BRD being penalized if too close to its target and DNC main filler combo being only 15y range, would you prefer something as cursed as these instead of having to get a lil close to someone?

    I have to agree. I'm on the receiving end of machinist damage all the time and they consistently get highest or 2nd highest damage in most matches. Now, I imagine if they don't ever have to get close to anyone ever then that damage would be even higher.

    Seriously, you want infinite harass from safety but you are already terrifying.

    Terrifying? A Machinist is one of the most fragile things in Frontlines. If you start wailing on him, you'll cost him the mana he needs to Recuperate if not downright kill him because he has nothing to defend himself unless he's inside his Bishop and even then, that's just a last ditch effort to maybe not die horribly. If you get a Machinist to Guard, you probably cost him his Heat charges because he can't afford to walk-cast to charge while he's running from fire.

    They're balancing for CC and screwing FL. Also, "Deleting peple every 90s" is pathetic close to what a Ninja can do, or a Samurai. If you really think a class needs to have a shit kit just because he has one LB (That can be guarded anyways) then just kill off NIN, SAM, WAR, WHM, DRG and every other class with a potentially good LB. Don't lock half of Machinist's kit behind throwing himself to the Melees, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT THEY REMOVED BIOBLASTER AS A WILDFIRE THING!

    I can't comment on Bard or Dancer, but MCH already has the weakness of having zero mitigation/selfhealing (outside of what everyone has). Yes, there's technically the bishop but if you're gonna use that, you'll either be in melee range anyway or the other team is already dead/running.
    Plus it's not just some filler thing to use, it can lock your entire kit up...so unless you want to stick to your normal attack, you already have to get personal right into the fight. I've senselessly burned Bioblaster at so many opportunities just to get rid of it...shouldn't really be the purpose of the skill.

    Also "delete any job I want every 90 seconds" is bull. You either set up the whole Wildfire, filler, burst, LB combo to really delete someone (ideally WF->Filler->Analysis/Air Anchor->LB for 12k/stun and following up with 36k+12k) or you stick to someone <18k HP to still catch them despite popping a heal. At which time Analysis+Drill does the same job while even ignoring guard.

    Bioblaster 100% needs to be its own button. It makes ZERO sense for a ranged class to suddenly be forced into melee range for a stupid dot/heavy skill.

    They could at the very least allow you to target the ground with bioblaster. That way you can get rid of it and move on.

    Ya something has to change. I messed around with MCH for the first time over this weekend and bioblaster has more or less put me off from playing it.

    Nah. I say keep it how it is. Forcing a very mobile ranged to go into NOT melee range(12y), just slightly closer, every 10sec is not that big of a deal. Wait till you have both Purify and Guard if you are that concerned. I feel forcing a MCH to get a tiny bit closer to eventually gain access to an ability that has the chance to one-shot is a fair enough price to pay. Plus you have Scattergun whose knockback isn't covered by anti-cc like the purify buff, and there are plenty of walls and corners to play around.
