seer folly not showing up please help me!

So im trying to progress as white mage and im currently lvl 38, im past the part i need to be in the msq, im finished all job quests for conjurer, im over lvl 15 on arcanist and its still not there.

every time i enter the Conjurers guild i cant interact with E-Sumi-Yan because he has no quests. ive logged out and back in and i know im missing something i just dont know what to do as im really new to the game!

Hi there!

To unlock WHM, you need to level up Conjurer to 30, not Arcanist.

Silver lining though, Arcanist will allow you to unlock BOTH Summoner (DPS) and Scholar (Healer).

For future work, all core jobs (like White Mage, Ninja) start as one other specific base class. Expansion jobs (like Red Mage) will unlock as-is and be available to you without prerequisite.

i have Conjurer to lvl 38! i read somewhere you also had to get Arcanist to lvl 15 to unlock the whm quest line but that was the last thing i had to try and it didnt work

All the class upgrades for the base jobs (Soul stones) are at level 30.

Originally in ARR you needed Class A at level 30, and subclass B at 15 to unlock a single class.

The Arcanist thing used to be true, many years ago. Hmm, you know the little thing in the corner of the screen that displays your current MSQ step? Is there anything underneath that? Usually your next class/job quest will be there.

Edit: Did he give you a Job Stone for WHM? It could be need to equip it first?

You can also type

/isearch Soul

So you can look for every job stone you have obtained so far

If you have the job stone, it's in your armory chest (open your character equipment page, look to the bottom right under your rings).

Double check you've done all the steps otherwise:

Finished MSQ to the correct point,
Finished all CNJ quests,
Received the Job stone,
Equipped the Job stone
At the correct spot/with the correct NPC.

(Typically there will be info pointing to your next job/class quest on recommendations and/or below the next MSQ pointer on your HUD)

check your quest log, is Seer Folly showing up? might you have already accepted it?

If so, you need to go to Central Shroud and visit the big tree to find Raya-O-Senna.

Also, a dumb question: you are ON your Conjurer when trying to get the quest, right? Not Arcanist?
