Moonward items brought by retainers?

Most of you probably know, this is 570 gear (main armor and a weapon) your class gets for free towards the ending part of the MSQ (i could swear this used to be 560 itemlevel, but that's besides the point). So what do we do with this? My retainers are bringing so much of it, but I cannot sell it, cannot desynth and cannot turn-in for Grand Company seals either. What is this? Keep hoarding until it becomes desynthable/turn-able? I'm confused, am I missing something? I'm genuinely curious, this is not a rant.

Just a clarification, the Moonward stuff is the introductory tome gear. The 560 gear you’re thinking of is the job artifact gear, which is different.

You can always right-click Discard. They’ll probably be able to be turned in next Patch, which is four months from now. But if you have too many, you can just discard them.

True true, yes, I remember now. Well, I will keep them because as far as I'm aware they cannot duplicate, can only have one of each - meaning once they cap in my inventory, they will stop appearing - or at least I think that's how it works. I run about 8-10 quick ventures per day lately with 10 retainers, so they will pile up eventually. Although it is an ungodly amount of items

Except we won't be able to turn in the Moonward gear as Expert Deliveries until 6.2.

That equals an ungodly amount of inventory space wasted trying to store all the pieces we get in the next 4 months.

I keep getting them too, just started. I *DO* have some space, gonna save as much as i can. seems like a waste though.. why would they give retainers items we can't do anything with?? to incentivize us to leve up other jobs..??
