Thread: 6.1 SAM Thoughts

lmao perfect! I am so angry at these changes that I decided to quit the game. I completely lost my motivation for playing. Not only Kaiten but the HUGE nerf is the ultimate kick in the face.

You're not alone. If they show they're willing to listen to overwhelming feedback, and revert the changes before my remaining time runs out, I might stick around. Otherwise it's time to say goodbye.

I still love the game, but I'm not going to invest any more time in it now that I dread every patch.

People might think this is hyperbole but I'm on the same boat. The game just isn't >fun< to play anymore. You can have all the cool content in the world but since a majority of the moment to moment gameplay is combat, if combat feels like crap (which 6.1 SAM does) then I don't care about all the cool things in 6.1. The game plays like crap so I'm not having fun playing it. Which means I'll stop playing it.

This. I had to tell the Static I am part of that I will help do P4S because some members are missing the Asphodelos weapon, Asphodelos chest piece and mount but other then that... I am not going to do any content. I will not even do fates I do, dungeons, dailies, roulettes with my SAM the only class I play cause everything is crap now due to the changes. Amazing new Alliance Raid yeah great but not with this SAM now. The Savage raid was pure depression now, I mean for the Static I'll do it but its not fun anymore... god this is so stupid

You're not alone brother. Call us dramatic but I can't in good faith keep enabling their poor decision making. Even if YoshiP was FFXIV savior so to speak, it's in the past. Make the right choice now.

I was previous Ninja main during HW and I always dreamed for Samurai to be in game, when it finally came I immediately jumped for it and I never looked back.
To me I felt like a Hero when I played Samurai, everything had a weave and a certain flow it and I learned to improve my rotations as time went along it was a joy, being a player on Console I had no issues with Button bloat at all.

Now when I play Samurai I don't feel like a hero now, the new changes made everything about the job just feel wrong there's no longer that flow, kenki gauge is always full and it's just mindless spamming with shinten and kyuten on appropriate targets, tenka goken being a circle aoe, I really preferred the cone. Kaiten was definitely our biggest skill we needed, it was our bread and butter so to speak, I'm deeply sadden to what they did to this job.

I could go on but a lot of people have already addressed the same issues I have, So I really hope SE is listening to our voices, Please fix Samurai.
