given the impact its had on my damage output i find it all the more believable now. in fights where i could average 80-90 dps i struggle to hit 55-60 at present. (basicaly cut my damage by about 1/3 overall)
That's a huge DPS decrease. I've noticed it too actually. And since a lot of my data was before this change, I've found that I had to start over with almost all of it. It kind of blows, but there's not really anything I can do about it I guess.

With my Garuda bow i can still light shot between ws's because the cooldown is a little bit less than 3 seconds. Side by side with a bard using ifrits bow i can get 1ws, light shot, and another ws at the same time he just uses 2 ws's. Add the damage up over time and garuda bow wins in long fights.

Well... depends how much the CD is. If it's a noticeable difference then you could go for the lowest delay, but honestly I'm thinking the power would be more of a benefit.
Serpent Sergeant's Bow honestly looks like an awesome bow. Ifrit has the power, Garuda has the speed, SS is a good middle ground with +45atk power as long as you're under sanction and don't die.

I've read every single post in this thread and I got the tingles. I love my bard and need to collect a few more bows before I can do some testing myself. I am not quite sure if I shall be playing my Arc because many just straight up prefer a bard for the support abilities. I do hope I shall obtain enough bows to jump in the testing mix with you all though. Till then I shall be sporting my Ifrit's bow due to my lack of luck with drop rates. Not having a Mog bow or Garuda bow is saddening.
