They've added being able to get Moonward gear from retainers since yesterday.
You can't desynth or sell these..
So you send a retainer on a venture only to have to discard the item you get.
Is this an oversight?
At least I can sell the Bom Boko >_>

Am I missing something here? why discard if you can turn them in for grand company seals?
Retainers have also been able to bring back blue level 60 Disciple of the Hand and Land gear for years now which also cannot be traded for Company seals, so this is nothing new.
You can't turn them in for seals, and none of my retainers need them. So i had to discard it.
I forgot to add you also can't trade it for GC seals.
In order to have those items be available for GC turn in or sale by retainer they'd have to reprogram the back end metadata for them to make them tradable and sellable or make entirely new items for all of them. Making tomestone gear tradable and sellable will go against the philosophy of them being things you buy for yourself and not to trade with other players. In the grand scheme of things, getting them from retainers is a way to gear them up and get glamours you wouldn't otherwise get for a long time.

What I've been doing is putting any of that gear onto my retainers/into saddlebags, so that when we can turn in/desynth them, I have an abundance of them to throw at the GC people until they are buried in it.
