Then fall back and wait for your team to respawn instead of going in versus 3 people???MMO PvP should not be about playing C&C:Generals. Yes its really strong if you have someone who is good at it, AND, and this is a big IF, you get people to listen but lets not pretend this is fun. Wheres the potential for 1v3 outplays and stuff, none of that currently exists in the design present, going 1v3 is a death sentence by all metrics because you simply dont have tools to take fights like that and win by sheer skill.
You missed the point. I do do that. Im saying its sad that there isnt room for skill expression for someone to go godmode and actually 1v3 people (not using a few of the wild LBs that just kill people)
The very fact that you make a comment like "If you don't like it don't play" goes against the entire concept of getting more casual players into the system.
If I don't like it, I eventually won't play once I have my rewards farmed from casual, and then guess what? Soon queue times will return to those wonderful 30 minute Feast timers, great for you right?


I don't like the new pvp at all. Only playing for the rewards but there isn't a single thing I like so far.


I love the new game. I'm playing Ranked PvP since 2 Days from about 13°° to 1°° in the morning, non-stop. I'm ranked 19 now and I have 11 wins. Bronze 3 !
Can't get any further since 2 Days.

You are the BEST kind of PVP player. Thank you for this.Yeah, this is a cop out. I shot call a lot of my matches, tell people which targets to focus, which to ignore, when to fall back, call my LB's etc. The only time I feel I got "carried" is when someone else called for me. Yes, there are good and bad players that you have no control over getting queued up with, but you also do n't control who you get queued up against. So for every steamroll one way, there is one another. There is always room for personal improvement, and room for someone to take charge of their team to increase their chances of winning.

"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.
Speaking for FL only.
It's CC hell (crowd control). Not half as fun as it used to be because of it. Overwatch, um, I mean FF14 kinda fixed this with the immunity thingy previously; why remove it? Balance?
Purify only last 5 secs, and has too high cooldown. If you are target of CC chain, you're pretty much dead. Also, there are unavoidable job specific CCs that makes it even worse.
I'm all for CCs, but currently it's CC on steroids. 4x chain stun is not fun.
Also, I absolutely hate the insta-death Ultimates, um, I mean Limitbreaks. Dunno, doesn't belong in this game, feels off. Especially the 3% MCH thing and the instakill SAM. MCH is too random, and SAM is just so cheap. At least with NIN it makes somewhat sense.
As is now, it feels like FF14 tries to be an FPS PvP. Understandable from a business perspective, as that kind of PvP is way more popular. But, imo, FF14 has totally changed its identity in order to make it more popular. Which is good for FPS fans, but a slight kick in the balls for the rest of us.
Job specific Ultimates are cool, I like that.
Reached the point now where folks just afk if it's 2 heals vs 1/0, great system in place really keeps folks afking just like designed.
