Audio Randomly MUtes - Needs Client Restart

I've had this issue intermittently since I started the game a year ago, but as of patch 6.1 this has happened twice in 2 days now. Is there some other solution other than restarting the whole client? Its very inconvenient, sometimes I am mid-duty and I am forced to play on mute

Yeah, I've gotten off an on since 5.0. But in 2/4 crystalline conflict matches I've had it happen. Seems to occur when too many sound effects play at once. Usually only happens when I lag and catch back up.

Yeah this keeps happening to me all the time in CC as well, only a client restart fixes the issue.

Same, never had this issue before 6.1. Had it pop up three times today, all in CC. I have to restart the client to fix it.

Had this the first time today, shortly after zoning in into Keeper of the Lake via duty Roulette.

The sound just disappears when lots of people simultaneously use their skills at the same place during crystalline conflict. It's really annoying, because it happens all the time

We would like to further assist with this issue. Please provide a system report from the game by going to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.' Copy and paste the details of the selection to this post when replying back.

Additionally, please provide the following information:

Does the issue happening in a specific one in game or when a particular action happens? Please clarify.
Platform: (Steam, Windows, PS4/5 or Mac)
Does the issue happen with a specific character or all characters?
Method of Sound Output: (Headphones, speaker system, etc)
Method of connectivity: (Wired/Wireless, HDMI, bluetooth, analog, RCA, etc)
Have you tried using a different device to see if the same thing happens?
Have you tried changing any of the game's internal sound settings to see if this has any affect?
Does any error message/code happen when the issue occurs?

This only seem to occur in CC, hopefully the latest patch fixed it
