I like Ishgard in general so trying for a plot was a no brainer for me. I'm totally not getting the plot I threw my bid into, but oh well. I have a house already, so I'm not exactly losing anything by trying. Just...lacking a very large sum of gil for a few days.I think there's 3 reasons why a lot of people aren't going after the ishgard plots, and its the same reason I'm not looking to move up to a large there from the medium I got by sheer luck early shb
1. The outdoor space is about a third to half of the size of similar plots in mist, at least for larges and mediums. I could fit 2 regalia end to end from door to gate and still have room left over in mist. In empyreum I couldn't do that.
2. Ishgard has quite frankly, views as depressing as the goblet which is the unpopular of the previous 4 districts. 2 of the 3 mansions and about half the smalls look straight at the walls on either side, the environment is mostly monotone grey and the mountains in the distance arent exactly nice to look at when most of the time its cloudy
3. The layout of ishgard's housing leaves something to be desired with a lot of stairs and odd market board placements
also friday is probably the day most tickets will enter since thats when everyone is free.
