You... have no idea how botting works, do you? Like literally none? A nigh infinite pool of accounts with mounds and mounds of gil. In an ecosystem where the vast majority of plots are for FCs now. When selling FCs with houses was the main method. While these plots come at the expense of private plots.

I swear. Sometimes I have to do the thinking for people.

It doesnt matter since the restriction of a 30 day old FC was told less than 20 days ago. So all those bots will miss out on the first lottery cycle. Sure, some might have been an FC, but even then, its highly unlikely that for every 4 bots they had an FC.

And thats how the bots got excluded.

Get over yourselves and get instanced housing. One ward, and instance the entrance to the property line, so people can keep the size they want, the yard they want and house they want. Enough instances inside instances inside instances. It's no wonder your servers fail so hard and can't take capacity.

It'll largely depend on what others are going for. The one I bid on earlier was empty, but houses around it had at least 1 or 2 entries for the lottery. Some people might just want to take their chances on a prime location. I'm still expecting to lose but a chance is still a chance. I'm not even gonna look at it in my timers until Saturday morning when it is all said and done.

I agree that the 9 day cycle is excessive. 3 days for bidding and 2 to claim feels more appropriate.

I think the idea is it's 5 days for people to find a day to login. There are a contingent of players who get to play 1 maybe 2 days out of the week.
