Everything that I ever wanted to say about these 6.1 SAM changes has widely already been said. Be that as it may, I also want to throw my two cents here into the void.

Samurai lost it's soul, the flare, the big numbers, that's what drew people (and me) to the job. Now it does work, it does do damage, but is that all a job is? Is a job only it's base qualities? This apparent need to make all jobs the same is questionable at best, and game-breaking at worst.

Literally no one asked for this, we all liked pressing kaiten and then iaijutsu. It made us feel powerful and it was satisfying. Now I constantly feel like I'm playing a level 50 class sync. Not to mention the severe potency nerf of midare, ogi, and kaeshi, it almost feels like a job assassination by someone on the dev team.

I've played samurai as my main for almost a year now, and switching to something like monk will just make me sad. I made my whole character's identity over being a samurai, now I don't know what I'm going to do since samurai doesn't seem to be savage-viable anymore.
