    Intervene Glitch

    Paladin's PvP move Intervene has the following description, yet the additional effect of stun does not occur at any time. This either is bugged or that part of description was not meant to be included.

    Rushes target and delivers an attack with a potency of 2,000.
    Additional Effect: Stun
    Duration: 2s
    Additional Effect: Grants a stack of Sword Oath, up to a maximum of 3
    Duration: 10s
    Maximum Charges: 2
    Cannot be executed while bound.

    I thought I was doing something wrong! I'd hit a person with this and they just keep moving, no stun at all

    There's an emergency maintenance tonight that I hope will fix this.

    I've noticed some weird combo interruptions when going back and forth between the middle of Royal Authority combo and Atonement, but I think that can be chalked up to how laggy and busy the Wolves' Den Pier is right now. Still, it could be smoother.

    It's come to my attention that the JP description of the move does not include the stun. Now I worry if this was unintentional or not. Paladin, as it is, is an extremely underwhelming pick and Intervene having a stun effect was my only hope at a small chance of redemption.

    Yeah if this is true it'd be very underwhelming for PLD indeed, especially compared to other tanks have much better crowd control abilities.

    You're aware that there are things in the game that instantly removes Stun, right? Or things that downright negate it?

    Not even only Guard, if a Bard recently set Warden's on the target, he won't even get Stunned. If you recently purified, you get a Resilience that should prevent Stun, or maybe the guy was just spamming Purify anyways.

    Although if you've NEVER stunned anyone, that might just be a bug.

    The move does not stun regardless of buffs on the target. Try it out and let me know if you discover differently.

    Seems another thread was made and it's been moved to the "Accepted Bugs" section of the forum. Whether the effect is bugged or the tooltip is a "bug" is still unclear.
