Also, not sure how this is “another” example of role double-standards. What ones are there? How is this a double-standard when there was never any promise or male viera-sized effort to get a tech-based class for any of the roles?

I wouldn't call this controversy. For a lot of people, Sage is the tech healer. So the suggestion that it isn't just seems odd.
