Otherwise, they tried to make a gun-toting chemist 7 years ago and didn’t like how it turned out and salvaged AST and MCH out of it.

Also, not sure how this is “another” example of role double-standards. What ones are there? How is this a double-standard when there was never any promise or male viera-sized effort to get a tech-based class for any of the roles?

Sage is still magic. The nouliths are just a medium like the other magic jobs. As funny as the meme is, the little crystal thingies are not "guns."
