I vastly prefer the current system. Small, unintrusive, there when you want it. Not in your face.

Maybe a fair compromise would be we keep the little commendations tab on the bottom right, only when you click it the personalised portraits come up? So anyone who doesn’t feel like giving comms can just leave as usual without seeing anything

That would still make the commendations in your face. Short sweet list of names, no distracting pictures that only make it difficult to see who you wanted to commend.

It’s definitely down to personal preference then I like to look at portraits & see peoples creativity with it.. it kinda adds more personality to their characters. But if that’s not your thing I understand! We will just agree to disagree.

Only downside I can think of is there’ll always be those people who take over the top sexual photos

I actually like that, of course it would be optional but I wouldn't mind that.

This is a really bad idea... commendations should be about competence and helpfulness in the duty, not a beauty contest of who's looking the cutest / funniest in their picture.

If it's an optional toggle in the settings? Sure, why not; options never hurt anyone. Those who like it and want to see it can toggle it on, those who don't can continue as normal.

Hard no if it's something forced, though. I don't feel like seeing "uguu kawaii catgirl" #2980774987 who thinks they took a 'unique' picture for their plate every single time a duty ends and I'm just trying to comm whoever contributed best.

idk but any of you guys, I've seen enough cat girl butt to last me a lifetime already. Like yeah people wear bikinis and such, huge difference when I can turn my camera away from them vs being blasted with a picture of their butt from their plate lmao. so yeah hard no for me on that ngl

lmao my exact thought - I'm getting the 14 shirt because well.. I play/love it, plus the design isn't horrible & I'd definitely wear it. some other ones though do slam.
but I'm not exactly rich either so :P.. I'll have to control my impulses, hard as it is. I think I saw a cactuar sprite? shirt and that's 100% what I would go for lol
