By balancing out the DPS and reducing crit variance, it's like they've made a change specifically geared towards the 1% of SAMs who play only play the high-level content and stare at their parsing software for most of the fight - but they're disguised it as a change geared towards the lower end of SAM players by opening up the class and making it 'accessible.' And in turn, they haven't served either community well at all. 6.1 SAM makes no sense at all.
