I Like the Samurai Changes

Y'all can think what you want about me, but for the love of God keep some perspective. Also, I'm a casual non-hardcore player that enjoys all the jobs. Not a minority. I'm the one they make these changes for.

Maybe its because kaiten was not insignificant? Even the JP players are pissed off. Don't comment on things you have no understanding of.

Its not just the loss of kaiten that's the issue.

Its that with kaiten gone, and abilities rebalanced, a lot of the big long-cast high damage abilities of Samurai... well... don't feel like worth the long cast anymore. Its like a BLM is charging a Flare and it comes out like a Fire 2. Its not very satisfying, even though by all accounts, the DPS still evens out.

Style is part of the draw of this game. It's fantastic that you played WOW for 16 years, but how a class 'feels' is part of things here.

And I don't like the way the class feels to how it felt prior to the patch. I don't like the homogenized AEs, and I hate losing the freaking awesome flourish and windup for setsugekka.

Maybe you found it tedious, but most of us apparently liked it.

Being an old WoW vet myself, you must understand how bad the class design has become in that game with 5 button rotations and most classes revolving around waiting for procs? Also, you seem to fit the mentality of an old WoW player throwing out insults without offering anything constructive into the conversation

people that dislike the change actualy have thougth out points and arguments, you are just a simple brain that is happy he has to press less button. go play cookie klicker or something if you dont want to press buttons not a mmo.

and since you say you enjoy all jobs there is no need to change it and ruin it for the rest of us. if pressing kaiten is realy to much for you maybe play 1 of the other jobs instead of encouraging the devs to destroy a job for alot of people.

i am also curious how much you actualy play samurai cause to me it just seems like you have 0 understanding of how the job works and why the changes are bad.
